Come join us for an evening on Agile Software Development at GE Energy Cambridge.
Sallyann will be discussing an experience report of a very large-scale agile adoption and one of the world's largest SAFe implementations to date (at Travis Perkins). This session will focus on the cultural change that has taken place and some of the surprising catalysts to this change. It will also discuss some of the things that did not work and what the existing challenges are.
We will compare Travis Perkins now and before the SAFe implementation. In particular we will highlight the fact that the Release Train Planning (RTP) session is widely considered to have been a have been a huge catalyst for cultural change. The impact of these two days has been wide-reaching and surprising. We will contrast this with the defined purpose of the RTP.
